Villa Betty is located in small village called Dubravka, Konavle. We like to call it “coutryside of Dubrovnik”. Villa is located 40km from Dubrovnik, 25 km from Cavtat. Sokol fortress is one of the most interesting historic sites in Konavle and it is located only 1 km away from Villa.
Konoba Mrs and Mr Caput
Near where the borders of Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro meet, you will find the village of Dubravka. And here, you will find the family owned Mrs. & Mr. Caput, tucked away from the tourist hordes of Dubrovnik, but with all the beauty and with all the amazing views. The couple’s primary goal was to fuse rustic and modern cuisines, and on the menu you will find many authentic Croatian dishes, some with a more contemporary twist. The wines you can drink here were made from the vineyards visible from your table. Perhaps the perfect spot to lunch at while touring the nearby UNESCO sites of Sokol Tower and St. Barbara’s Church. Located only 1,6km from Villa Betty.
Konoba Vinica - Monković family
Excellent option in the Konavle region south of Cavtat. If you ask nicely, the Monković family who run the place may show you their collection of folk costumes as you digest your home made prosciutto, cheese, roast meat, trout and garden salad. A drop of home made rakija would go down a treat too… 6 km away from from Villa Betty
Tables are scattered in thick woods watered by the Ljuta (“angry”) brook, whose force drives the millwheel and feeds the trout ponds. Fantastic meat dishes (and trout) served by wait staff in traditional Konavle costume. You may be accompanied by several busloads of tourists. This restaurant is located 8 km from Villa Betty
